Blades lose in Overtime. Trade Sloboshan and Reid to Spokane.
So the Saskatoon Blades played another hockey game tonight. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead... Oh that was great.... WRONG. The Oil Kings scored 2 goals to tie it.
The Oil Kings peppered 46 shots at the Blades net. The Oil Kings scored 11 seconds into Overtime. The mini win streak is over.
The Blades have put Kolten Olynek on Waivers. They had too when Fiala was brought in.
I hope this trade makes the Blades a tougher team to play against. Bringing in 2 tough hard working players. From what I hear of US Division fans.

There was a trade rumoured between Spokane and Saskatoon. It happened. Blades trade Wyatt Sloboshan,Nolan Reid and a 3rd round pick to Spokane Chiefs for F Markson Bechtold and local product Evan Fiala. We will see if this trade helps the Blades reach the playoffs.

Blades win twice.
Saskatoon played the Regina Pats on the road and came away with a 2-1 win in Overtime.
Tonight Verses the Warriors was also a tough game but the Blades kept their stick on the ice. The undersized Blades skated away with a 4-3 win. A very good hockey game Brock Hamm and company played well.
Saskatoon's next home game is on Wednesday VS the Edmonton Oil Kings. Whom the Blades trail in the playoff race.

Blades lose to Hitmen. Hajek off to WJR Camp.
On Wednesday the Blades and Hitmen hit the ice. Saskatoon Jumped out to a 2-0 lead. After a Calgary Hitmen timeout. That seemed to get them on the right track. They scored 2 goals to tie the game.
The final score was 4-3 for the Hitmen.
Saskatoon travels to Regina to face the Pats tonight. Regina is one of the top teams in the CHL. The Blades will lose Libor Hajek to the WJR selection camp of team Czech Republic. Saskatoon plays Moose Jaw on Sunday at 4 PM.
I think 1 win out of 2 games is fair this weekend.

Saskatoon trades a goalie to Everett.
The Blades traded 1999 born goalie Dorrin Luding to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 2019 6th round pick. This move does not make sense to me.
