Tonight the Blades will take on the Memorial Cup host Brandon Wheat Kings. In 2 previous games the season series between these two is tied at 1 game a piece.
Derek Hulak and Walker Wintoneak continue to lead the Blades in scoring. While Brayden Schenn and Matt Calvert lead their team in scoring.
These two teams are 1 and 2 in the East Division standings,it could be a close game but who knows because Brandon blew Saskatoon out of the water with a 3-0 win in one of their previous games.
I was thinking of heading downtown to Joe Dogs Sports Bar to watch the game...... but I have a soccer game at 7:30 so that puts a stop to those plans.Another T.V related event to pass along: Rogers Sportsnet will be showing 2 Saskatoon Blades games. On January 27th Warriors at Blades will be televised, and on March 7th Blades @ Hitmen will be shown on the T.V.
