WHL gives Brendan Shinnimin 12 Games.

I think that is a reasonable number of games for the 1st time offender.

What is everyone else's opinion?

    He didn't make a hockey play, he made a spinal injury attempt. Why not give him the year off?

    Yes that is true but maybe it has something to do with Shinnimin being a scoring leader in the WHL right now. This was his 1st offence and also consider that Josh Nicholls's injury was not worse and if he was unable to return then suspend Shinnimin for the season.
