Former Blades tough guy Mike Reich goes to university.

After a WHL players career in Junior is done many players choose to take advantage of the education package that the WHL has created,every year that a player plays in the WHL earns him the same amount of years to attend a University of their choice and he picked St. Thomas University but he did get a taste of pro hockey before deciding to hit the books,he finished off the season with the Florida Everblades of the East Coast Hockey League.
