The Saskatoon Blades played a pretty successful weekend of hockey, winning against the Oil Kings 5-2,Versus the Warriors 4-3,and most recently against the Swift Current Broncos tonight 3-1.
Steven Stanford started his second game in as many nights. Randy McNaught served the final game of his 5 game suspension.
The Blades now stand atop of the Eastern Conference with 13 wins and 28 points,2 ahead of the Calgary Hitmen.
I hope Jon Keen or the legendary Ermie Waldner will have a more detailed recap soon.
The Blades will now play these same two teams on Tuesday and Wednesday @ the Credit Union Centre. Moose Jaw on Tuesday and the Broncos on Wednesday (a game that I choose to miss) in favor of playing in my soccer season opener,so if I can I want to try and get rid of my ticket for that game...Give it away if I must. My season seat is a pretty good seat.
